The Role – Chinese Speaking- Business Development Manager with Deliveroo Ireland You are responsible for signing up the very best Asian restaurant partners to join Deliveroo in Ireland and ensuring they go live on our platform. Asian cuisine, especially Chinese, is a big market driver in the food delivery industry. You will be on the front line as the face of Deliveroo, walking into restaurants, scoping out the very best that the city has to offer, and ensuring we have the best selection in town.
At Deliveroo selection is king and you will be the face of that in Ireland.
Responsibilities - Prospecting and finding new Asian restaurants, which are predominantly Chinese - Meetings in the field launching new areas and signing restaurants in person & over the phone - Leading chain negotiations in your area - Complete ownership of the Restaurant Partnership sales cycle - Kick-starting restaurant performance and boosting sales in early stages Requirements - Energy and enthusiasm is a must - Fluency in Chinese Mandarin / Cantonese - Punctual and able to work under pressure - A passion for food and commercial awareness of the Irish food market - Previous sales business development and marketing experience is helpful but not required if you have the drive - Basic data analysis skills The package: - Salary: €30,000 base salary per annum (plus monthly commission) - Location: The Stone Building, 15 Flemmings Place, Dublin 4 - Working hours: 40 hours per week, 09:30 - 18:30 (Monday to Friday) Career Level
