Short English Summary
Sligo is one of Ireland’s largest towns situated in the Northwest. Sligo’s Benbulben mountain is well known by its magnificent scenery. Things to do include, horse riding, fishing, water sports, golf and even seaweed baths. Top attractions include, The Model ,a contemporary arts centre with collection of Jack B Yeats’s work. Hawk’s Well Theatre and the Blue Raincoat Theatre Company, for theater and Performance. Over 5,000 archaeological and historical sites including megalithic grave complex at Carrowkeel. So there are many historical walking routes to choose from.
Sligo also hosts many various Festivals and Events throughout the year.
