Taoiseach said that Covid-19 restrictions will be in place for at least the first six months of the year. However, he said this does not mean six months of “lockdown”.
He also said that schools may remain closed until St Patrick’s Day. “The full million (students) won’t be back” by this date, he said.
“Because of where we are now in terms of the pandemic, the idea of mobilising one million people was the main reason not to open them.”
In additions, Taoiseach has said.Covid-19 vaccinations for people over the age of 70 may be delayed due to issues with the supply of the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine,
