They miss nothing and they're always up for a chat. Joe was telling us all about the CIE works and even cycled with us up the road a bit to chat with the man on the gate. This is Helen, Barry, Tui, Rembo, Megadog & Bonnie. Barry’s been living in this house for 20 years and is still considered a blow in. He runs an Instagram account called @lovincrumlin and is passionate about the area he lives in. We chatted about the design and architecture of houses built in Dublin from the 1940s through to modern day. He pointed out that it’s always the houses on the start and the end of the street that look bigger and have more design features on them. Her house is at the entrance to our street. She sits outside most evenings, as long as weather permits, and always has some mad story to tell. She’s kinda like the gatekeeper, nothing gets passed her. She lived in 2 other houses on the street before settling here, says a lot for the neighbourhood.
