3月1日 Covid-19 武漢肺炎 愛爾蘭 重點綜合報導 1 Mar 2020 Coronavirus in Ireland news summary
今天比較特別, 除了千篇一律的官方說法, 我會把網民的意見給大家參考,
Surely public health and safety comes before this persons gdpr confidentially? You can release some extra info that would put some other peoples mind at ease but not identify person surely? Where they live? What flight they came back on? General location of work if they’ve been in? Age bracket? Why all the mystery? (by thegreatdefector)
The quickest way to locate the people is give the flight date and time and believe me they will contact the relevant people double quick. Common sense is sorely lacking in HSE and Dept of Health. The time searching would be cut in half. (by Lyndsay Rehn )
I don’t understand that they keep saying casual contact has a low chance of spreading this and only informing two rows of people on the plane… However other countries are cancelling public events and school, makes no sense? Also other countries are taking temperatures at the airport? The cruise ship spread the virus easily so what is the difference? I feel the hse is being to laid back about it all (by Lynn)
It’s amazing how every other affected country published the location of any affected areas!!! Which in turn allowed people in the affected areas to take extra precautions. Patient confidentially is not affected one bit or at risk by naming the county they are living in or staying in. I think people are more concerned about the virus spreading here because they are very aware of the hospital crisis and the 100’s of people laying on hospital trolleys throughout the country and know the Government can’t even deal with that!
This is no reflection on the poor nurses and doctors that are working in the hospitals! It’s not there fault the hospitals are under staffed. (by
新聞如下: News follow,
The HSE is now working to identify people who may have come into close contact with the (confirmed) patient .
Holohan said last night that this will take “some time”.
Dr John Cuddihy, Director of the Health Protection Surveillance Centre, said:
“The HSE is now working rapidly to identify any contacts the patient may have had, to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread.
It is important to note that the risk of transmission through casual contact is low.
Cuddihy said last night that it was “too early to know the detail” of how many people had come into close contact with the man.
“We are being very thorough,” he said, “so it will take some time, but the people who need to be notified will be notified”.
Holohan said in the statement: “We have been preparing for this eventuality for many weeks now.”
Public health protocols have been in place since January and are operating effectively. The health service is well used to managing infectious diseases and has robust measures in place.
At last night’s briefing he said significant numbers of public health doctors had been mobilised to help identify and locate people who came into close contact with the man.
