自1927年開始, 耶穌受難日- Good Friday, Christmas Day, St Patrick’s Day 三個重要宗教日子都被禁止賣酒, 而 St Patrick’s Day 的禁酒令早在1960年消除。
近百年以來耶穌受難日只允許售酒給在機場，火車上，船上或住在酒店的人。
今年這個傳統禁今年取消了, 說到底也是經濟和旅遊業的考慮, 加上與時並進吧!

3月29日星期四：酒吧的營業時間為上午10點30分至晚上11點30分。
3月30日星期五：這是近100年來第一次 – 酒吧的營業時間為上午10點30分至凌晨12點30分。
3月31日星期六：酒吧的營業時間為上午10點30分至凌晨12點30分。
4月1日星期日：酒吧的營業時間為中午12:30分至凌晨12點30分。
4月2日星期一：酒吧的營業時間為上午10點30分至晚上11點30分。
註: 不鼓勵飲酒過量, 並切勿酒後駕駛!

Irish pubs will open on Good Friday in 2018 after a 90-year alcohol ban was lifted. The opening hours will be as follows,
Thursday March 29: Pubs can open from 10.30am to 11.30pm.
Friday March 30: Pubs can open from 10.30am to 12.30am.
Saturday March 31: Pubs can open from 10.30am to 12.30am.
Sunday April 1: Pubs can open from 12.30pm to 12.30am.
Monday April 2: Normal trading hours apply, pubs can open from 10.30am to 11.30pm.
