The government has confirmed 79 more cases of Covid-19. There have been no further deaths.
It brings the total number of confirmed cases in Ireland to 27,755, with the death toll at 1,776.
It comes as localised restrictions for Laois and Offaly have been lifted following a Cabinet decision.
However, the tighter rules remain in place in Kildare for a further two weeks following advice from NPHET.
