The Department of Health has confirmed 6,888 new cases of Covid-19 and 8 further deaths.
There have now been a total of 147,613 confirmed cases of Covid-19 and 2,344 deaths related to the virus in Ireland.

The number of people in ICU has risen to 125, up six from yesterday. There has also been 100 additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.
